Presentation tips

  1. Know your audience.
  2. Practise makes perfect, know your subject.
  3. Think about your clothes - do they fit the occasion?
  4. Consider your body language and spoken communication skills. Vary your tone, volume and vocabulary.
  5. Use gesture to emphasize a point but don't overdo it! 
  6. Use written, powerpoint, video and audio materials to support presentation.
  7. Check your facts are right!
  8. Engage your audience with questions, varied visual, audio and written materials.

What to wear

Use Pinterest to create a suitable outfit for that interview. Think about the role and what will be suitable. Consider the image and company culture.


Watch comedians, Vloggers, talk shows and consider their presentation skills. Think about their audience, style and how appropriate it may be or NOT! Consider how you can use this to improve your own skills. Try them out and create your own Vlog.
